It all depends, you can't easily say that blogs are literature but it can be a source for literature. It is merely a medium of cimmunication but when it becames a product of imagination and language prowess, then it might become a literature in a sense.

major tom, i know this is very hard to prove but ive read a couple of papers discussing the possibility and the ideas are quite interesting.
