i saw the PBA commercial d other day in a TELEVISION. it's been so long since i've seen a television that i felt amazed and "wonderstruct" i even had a slight puzzled moment, wondering how does a TV really work? for a moment it felt so impossible. anyways, about the PBA commercial, its whole agenda was that the National team, which is highly debatable of course because almost all who's in it is, if not a Fil-Am, a Fil-something.... and if there are any true blooded Filipinos, well they're expendable assets. the commercial says, "kaya nating talunin ang pinaka magaling sa mundo, tayo ang pinakamagaling sa mund." what d ****? it sent me shivers, literally. i din't know that we can be the best in the world in d sport! is it me or is it me? for christ sake who did that commercial must see d doctor ASAP, or see someone at least. or something. lying to d Filipinos is bad enough they have given them false hopes as well. are they also implying that we can go to war against China head on? hmm. i have nothing against basketball, i can understand the Filipinos love for the game, but isn't it just plain wrong to lie? and assume something and reach for a goal which is just utterly IMPOSSIBLE? yes, "impossible is nothing" but that is just another line from addidas either because they had too many endoresement lines to choose from or because they had none at all they had to make up one out of thin air. why don't we just cut the lying and the bragging in basketball coz it seems to me that even sports here in d country is looking a lot like d country's politics. d commercial even said that height doesn't matter. i just hope he was talking about something else and not basketball. it's not like the basket is 5 foot high. why don't we just turn to baseball?
