long read ... bayad sa long vacation from posting

www.jennyart.com/gallery it's been almost 3 weeks since i started working in jambee!(as mwam always say... jambee). miss u mwam. it was actually my first job aside from tutoring a korean a few years ago (tnx to kuya ployd, kuya daw o hehe) well this job is so challenging that a lot of things has changed in my everyday typical, "as useless" days... i can't watch tv for 10 straight hours anymore. i can't sleep 12 hours straight anymore. i can't day dream for 2 hours straight anymore...no time to read books especially now classes has started wehehe (FHM is a book ryt? and d like). no time for internet, except now because it's my RD "rest day" ... i think resurrection day is a more approprate term... no time to watch XXX (joke), no time to watch dvd's vcd... d only time i can listen to mp3 and audio music is while i'm taking a bath (and dat lasts for about 20 seconds)... no time for barkada, we have to plan at least a week ahead so we can go and do something like puff coffee and drink cigarette or go site seeing... no time for texting (kahit 3 lang ang katext ko) no time for nba finals (doesn't matter kasi wala na ang suns! nyemas...) and no time for chat and MIRC trivia... no time for blogging (as u can see this is my first post for d last i dunno years... i've been asking myself, for all the exhausting, brutal, physical and mental stresses i've been going through ( char!)to get paid minimum wage in our present economic and political mess?... is this worth it? is it worth it? is it? is it? is it? is? it? i? i? i i just have to say yes. d jambee boys and girls should be grateful for d chance dey've been given by mr. tony, to earn while dey're young and still studying (thank you oh master bee! we worship you! hail! hail!) and especially for someone like me who doesn't even know how to wash clothes (i mean efficiently)or fix a busted faucet or build a house and build a sub and fly an f18 or fire a machine gun or cross stitch (hehe?) ... i know little really of those practical jobs and skills a man of my age should already be an expert of ... ( i blame my parents for this... :) . in short im not used to work. period. period period period! im a lazy son of d couch. no kidding. dats why d first few days in my job as hard. d adjustment was hard. d work was hard. i mean it was hard and i din't expect it at all to be hard. it's not hard to understand? is it hard? die hard? not to mention my 4 days training ( dat was supposed to be at least a week) but I did my best and i managed with a few "bukol" here and there... hehe i thought it was normal... normal ka dyan! abnormal! i tried to learn and improve on my "thinking while working" skills .. and i never thought critical thinking has so much to do with lugging, moving, lifting, aligning, delivering, arranging, counting, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning... and cleaning. i am thankful because lately i've realized how much im learning from all this. i got paid today for d experience. well also because i've been working my butt for d last few weeks. money wise, i guess we're a little underpaid,. but wd d training and d experience dat goes with it, i guess it's all worth it (at least dats how i feel for now... whehehe). kahit ilang bukol pa ang abutin ko sa mga managers na di man lang ma dapuan ng ngiti at saya (niyahaha... be happy nga diba?) ok lang. i understand them, coz i know mas brutal pa siguro ang aabutin nila pag pumalpak sila... :) kahit ilang paketeng extra joss pa ang maubos ko. kahit ilang tulog pa ang bibiguin ko. kahit ilang dugo ang tumulo, ilang daliri ang maputol, ilang buhok ang malagas, ilang episodes pa ng "kampanerang kuba na duling pa" ang di ko mapanood (joke lang)ok lang. tlga. di nga.... :) la na kong masabi. eto na lang. today is my first pay day. and it feels good. now i somehow understand how people sometimes get so hooked and fanatic over their work. its not always about d money, it's for d feeling of achievement and success, it's for those times dat u have faced d challenge and finished d job. it's for the thumbs up u get acknowledge for from your boss for a job well done. it's for d things u did urself then look at them and say to urself, I did that. maybe it's for these reasons. maybe. well, maybe it's for the money too... :) haaaay sige bye. got to go to class. den to work den sleep. paalam! kita kita tayo muli!
